Summit Communications, Inc. (SCI) is a woman owned and operated, was formed in 1989 by Steve Loiacono. After learning about electronics and telephones in the U.S. Navy and then working for ITT, GE and several other local Washington DC area telephone interconnect companies, it was appearing that there were no interconnect companies providing true full service to the small to medium size business, so Summit Communications was started on February 14th 1989.

In July 2003, Rungphan Loiacono “Apple” became President of Summit Communications, Inc. in-order to allow growth and to administer the company.

SCI Servings numerous businesses in the Washington DC, MD, and VA area; SCI provides true Full Service by keeping our customers informed, provided training and keeps their telephone equipment working. SCI works with customers like they are your staff members. There is a business partnership that develops with our customers.

Our staffs continually training both on the job and via manufacture provided courses. Our low voltage cabling is done to the BISCI standard, a professional association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry, via our certified Information Transportation Technician.

Since its inception, Summit Communications, Inc. has helped over two hundred customers that rely on us to service their telecommunications equipment (telephone systems, zone paging equipment, voicemail systems and etc.) and for low voltage cabling (Telephone & Computers cabling). We also provide Sales and Installation of all the above.
